Here’s the story: these barrels were first filled with Colorado honey whiskey and then filled with spiced rum. Finally, they were filled with a blend of two different quadrupels and aged for 33 months on whole spices, including vanilla beans, cardamom, orange peel, ginger root, raisins, cloves, nutmeg, peppercorns and cinnamon.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe result is an 18.1% ABV beer our head brewer calls one of his favorite beers he has ever brewed. If you know him, you know to trust that recommendation.
